Holiday house in Franche-Comte, JURA-Doubs - From this holiday house in (so called «Kükelhaus», see picture, named after the artists Hermann and Hugo Kükelhaus) you have a beautiful view over the landscape in all directions. The holiday house provides place for 1-8 guests: In Parterre a large lounge with artistic arched ceilings made of wood, kitchen and a fireplace Jotul. Upstairs there is a bedroom which can be divided into separate rooms if necessary.
This wooden holiday house lies at 600 m above the see, in the middle of the humpy Jura area, near the courtyard of William Master. It can be found on a 5700 m˛ green area with beautiful old trees, deciduous trees and pine trees.
One part of the romantic «Franche Comté» (originally independent shire of Burgundy) lies in the wide ring of Doub: away from industry and traffic, unexplored by tourism. It is an oasis of tranquillity and relaxation. Fields, large grass-lands, old oak and beech forests, unexploited river valleys, limestone caverns and holes, wide plateaus: picturesque landscape, beautiful nature – a real refuge. It invites you to explore the area, to walk, to tour, to undertake canoe tours, to fish and ride; and to make a tour or vacation to the near Switzerland as well.
Ideal for working weeks/weekends, short breaks, explorations, meetings, discussions. For the friends of the sky full of stars at night: In the Kamo area there is actually no fog the entire year! There is a large outdoor pavilion with fireplace and pizza oven since summer of 2002.
Away from industry and traffic, unexplored by tourism.

Neighborhood: Idyllic places for outdoor camping, mobile houses are available! (Wood for firing is enough in the forests all around). Next to this complex there is an agricultural farm.
Catering: if you would like to have meals at us, it is possible, if not, there is self-catering. In the farm bio products are available: milk, cheese (they can be ordered as well!), bread, meat. In Sancey le Grand (regional centre) there are shops, restaurants, cafés, banks etc.
Cheese production at Kamo: Our cheese is produced at a bio-farm at Sancey Le Grand, in the middle of the natural paradise Franche-Comté near die Swiss border. These pages provide you a look-in into the procedure of cheese production.

Basic price is given for 2 people, for each extra person € 8, children € 4.
Final cleaning: € 28 (flat price) and electricity price: € 2 per person and day. In the peak season (July/August): + 20%. Weekend and price for shorter period: if required. Bed linen: € 7 per person, you can bring bed linens with yourself.
Washing machine use: € 3 per machine. Pets: € 3 per day and pet. Car rent: price per kilometre. Fire wood: in the electricity price inclusively.
Booking: generally on a weekly basis from Saturdays until Saturdays or else if required. If shorter than 1 week, then basic price is still one week. Train connection in Mulhouse, Belfort, Montbéliard to L´Isle sur le Doubs (Railway station SNCF; eventually Montbéliard). For details see the route plan. We can organise transfer for you if required (€ 46 for 80 km).
The Franche Comté is an ideal area for bikers: if required, we can provide bikes for an extra price (€ 12/week). Also paragliding is possible, kiting as well..
