The peaceful village of Bayton: The Mill House sits beside the ancient Church on one edge of the small, peaceful village of Bayton. Bayton is part of a conservation area and has many old and attractive houses of character. We are 20 miles north-east of Worcester, 12 miles east of medieval Ludlow, 6 miles west of georgian Bewdley, 30 miles south-west of Shrewsbury and 30 miles south of Birmingham.
Glorious scenery: 1 mile from Clows Top off the A456. Although the cottage feels like it's 'in the middle of nowhere' amidst glorious scenery, quaint buildings and friendly people there is easy access to numerous places of interest.
Market town of Cleobury Mortimer: Cleobury Mortimer, 2.5 miles by the "back lane" is a small but thriving market town half-way between Ludlow and Bridgnorth. It has a number of newsagents/butchers/bakers/general grocery stores pubs/tearooms/take-aways plus a delicatessen, wine merchant, chemist, doctors surgery and old-fashioned hardware store. Videos can be hired out from the electrical shop. Numerous country pubs offering inexpensive family-friendly hospitality plus some highly recommended restaurants including an Indian and Bistro-style restaurant.

A 20% non-refundable deposit is payable to secure a booking with the balance payable 4 weeks before your arrival date.
It is possible to rent for Friday & Saturday nights between October-April or Midweek minimum 3 nights. Short break prices range from Ł300-450 but do not include Public Holiday dates.
