About Tuscan life in authum: Spring in Tuscany and see the famous poppy fields and lushgreen meadows with many wild flowers including orchids. For people who really want to get a taste of the real Tuscan life, October is the wine and olive oil season, while November is famous for truffles, mushrooms and wildboar festivals. These festivals in the villages all around involve eating and drinking local produce and savouring the true village atmosphere.

The village of Chianni: In the village of Chianni you can find all your shopping needs. Florence, Siena, San Gimignano are within 1 hour drive away, although the local area is very interesting to visit too. In Volterra, Etruscan capital, Roman centre and an important medieval city, you can visit the many museums or just enjoy the local craftsmanship of alabaster. The spa town of Casciana Terme is only 15 minutes away where you can enjoy beauty treatment and natural hot springs. Hot springs are common in the area. Infact, half an hour drive away, in the town of Larderello, there is the largest natural geo-thermic energy producing power station in Europe with its own museum.

Garden and pool: Each apartment has its own secluded area for eating outside or just to relax the views. There are 2 separate footpaths leading to the large swimming pool (8 x 16 mt -- 120cm shallow part) and to the badmington pitch. The property includes 2 hectares of field and woods where you can find wild orchids and deer.

For Winter months central heating fee €15 per day. Refundable breakage deposit £400 or €600

There are 2 apartments in the house, the above mentioned prices refer to one of the apartments only. The second apartment could be rented for the same price.
