The Villas are situated in a marvellous park and just in front of the beach.

4 km away lies the fishing village of Soverato, a well known holiday resort, with a beautiful sea promenade, a large pedestrian precinct overlooking the marvellous gulf of Squillace, elegant fashion shops and important jewellers, delicatessen shops, good restaurants where you can taste the superb Ionian fish, and bars where you can sample some of Italy's best ice cream. There are also pubs, discos and entertainment for adults and children. A large and inviting flea market takes place every Friday.
20 minutes by car, in the direction of Catanzaro, near Squillace, there is the archaeological Greco-Roman site of Scolacium, with the impressive ruins of the Norman church of La Roccelletta.
40 minutes by car in the direction of Reggio Calabria, there is the Basilian church of La Cattolica perfectly preserved in an almost desert landscape.
It is also easy to reach the untouched forests in the mountains of Serre Calabre, Sila and Aspromonte, where you can enjoy the tasty mushrooms, cheese and salami of the region.
40 minutes away there is the archaeological park of Locri Epizefiri, a huge ancient Greek colony with the ruins of a beautiful theatre overlooking the sea and the museum.

The largest has 3 bedrooms (6 beds) 2 bathrooms with washingmashine, a livingroom with kitchen with dishwasher, and a large terrace overlloking the sea. The other villa (4 beds) has 1 bedroom with a double bed and a balcony, a livingroom with sofabed and a single bed, a kitchen a bathroom and a nice patio. The estate produces its own wine and oil, as well as lemons and oranges and other fruits and vegetables. The garden is rich in high pine trees, eucalyptus and bouganvillas, and invites adults to superb siestas and total relaxation whilst the children and pets run and play.

Reggio Calabria: Don't forget a trip to the fascinating museum of Reggio Calabria. Here, it is possible to see the ancient Greek bronze statues of two warriors Bronzi di Riace. These statues were recently found by a fisherman under the Ionian sea and are kept in the museum together with other interesting archaeological findings from the area. Allow yourselves time for an ice cold sparkling Prosecco wine in one of the many bars along the sea promenade and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Messina Strait and the Etna volcano.

Trips and Excursions: From Soverato you can easily book a day trip to the volcanic Aeolian Islands of Salina, Vulcano, Lipari, Panarea, Stromboli (a still active volcano), Alicudi and Filicudi.
