The first floor also includes a large, comfortable living/dining room with satellite television, video, stereo and large open fireplace. The kitchen/breakfast room is fully equiped with breakfast table and chairs, oven and microwave. Should you be taking advantage of our fully hosted experience, on the ground floor is an additional split level lounge/dining room with two sets of double doors overlooking the well maintained garden and vineyard with a further set of windows over the pool and out to the fertile hills beyond.

When you make your reservation you will be sent a preference sheet on which you can let us know your likes, dislikes and any dietary information that will aid Jonti in making your meals totally suited to you. Once the style and budget of catering required has been established then the price can be set. Included within the fully hosted package are breakfast lunch and dinner, soft drinks and beer.
Jonti's style of cooking involves fresh, healthy food which, wherever possible, comes from her own garden, though this does depend on the season. All meals will be served to you either in the dining room or, if you prefer, in the lovely al fresco dining area by the pool. What better way to be able to relax completely on your holiday and truly make every minute count of your time away.
Your Hosts - Andrea and Jonti are a couple of swells! They have spent many years travelling around the world working in and running hotels, restaurants, and most recently working in the luxury, private yachting industry. Their combined experience and training has given them a high regard for service standards and fine attention to detail. They moved to Tuscany three years ago and in the space of eighteen months renovated the house, built a pool, created a garden and had a child - their son Luca!
Jonti is a professional chef and has a consummate passion for cooking; Andrea is a laugh and has an irresistible sense of humour and their son Luca is simply adorable!

Sightseeing: If it is sightseeing you are after, then you are spoilt for choice. Pisa, Florence, Siena and Assisi, to name a few, are all within an hour or two's drive, or easy to get to by train from the station in Castiglion Fiorentino
Cortona: Cortona, the medieval hill town, is only fifteen minutes drive from Mulino dello Zoppo. This town has become renowned from the well read book, "Under The Tuscan Sun" by Frances Mayes, And we would highly recommend a visit during your stay.
Mulino Dello Zoppo: For those who wish to experience the area at a more leisurely pace there are a selection of bicycles available for you to use. You can cycle or walk, by road or on tracks, to the small local store and cafe where necessary supplies can be bought. Naturally there are a choice of larger supermarkets in the local area for a more comprehensive shop.
