Athens is easily reached by ferry and bus (2 hrs) but in the relaxing atmosphere you may prefer to visit nearby coves, tavernas bars etc.

Holiday on Evia: This is the 2nd largest greek island after Crete. It is virtually undiscovered by the British tourist industry and its Greek character is maintained by the Athenians who flock here at week-ends. It is within easy reach of Athens Int airport so arrival and departure is possible on a very flexible schedule.

Nea Styra: This is where the ferry terminates and it is a lively Greek resort in high season but rather a sleepy easy-going resort at other times. It has beaches which stretch from the town in each direction. On the hill just above the terminal is the typical greek church and from here you can take one of the many way-marked walks to visit the hillside villages. Nea Styra is conveniently located for visits to The South of the Island and historic Karystos and the North passing Halkida the capital to the hot springs of Aedipsos. Also to visit the Aegean coast which has very beautiful coves.

Low season rents are for 4 people extra people at a £15pp pw supplement. The rent includes a welcome hamper and twice weekly cleaning. All bed linen, pure cotton, towels and utilities are included. A cheque for £150 is required to be held against damage or excessive cleaning.
