Our 2.5 acres of Trout River property provides a private and serene setting for you and your guests. The manicured lawns; deck with large hot tub; bonfire pits; and ample sporting equipment entices the entire family outdoors for truly relaxing, yet fun experiences.
Our home is spacious, cozy, and inviting. The perfect combination for the beginning of your vacation.
Let's see... You could escape to the hammock suspended by the brook, or cast a line on the river in your two-man canoe... You could escape to the stars through the computerized telescope, or out on the deck for an evening hot tub... Whatever escape you are looking for, we are certain that we have at least one that will suit your fancy.
This beautiful 4.5 Star three-bedroom executive home provides a private and serene getaway on 2.5 acres over looking the Trout River. The manicured lawns; two-level deck with sunken hot tub; outdoor bonfire pits; and ample sporting equipment entices the entire family outdoors for truly relaxing, yet fun experiences.
The custom designed kitchen is fully equipped and features a breakfast bar with stools. The sunroom, off the open dining area, has skylights and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river. The master bedroom with king sized hand-crafted sleigh bed opens to the sunroom through French doors and also overlooks the river through four large windows. A very unique view in the morning!

Seven person deluxe hot tub off the second-level deck overlooks the serene Trout River while allowing ultimate privacy for day or night dippers.
Kitchen, Family Room, Dining Room, 4 piece Bath, 3 Bedrooms, SunRoom, main floor Laundry, and dining area on our two-level deck.
Telephones, 43" TV, DVD, stereo, satellite dish, VCR, computer (internet access), clothes washer & dryer with iron/board give you all the amenities of home.
The custom gourmet kitchen has a refrigerator, oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, coffee grinder, skillet, slow cooker, toaster and toaster oven.
Cutlery, dishes, pots and pans, linens / bedding and Egyptian cotton beach towels are provided.
The three large bedrooms comfortably sleep seven. Master Bedroom - King sleigh bed, Bedroom 2 - Queen colonial bed, Bedroom 3 - Single over double bunk beds. King and Queen beds are fitted with down feather mattresses .
Outside this PEI Cottage Rental: Outdoor dining is complete with table/chairs, a propane BBQ and a propane cooker (with large boiling pots for shellfish cooking).
The 2.5 acres of manicured property is complete with playground, sand box, horse shoe pit, badminton net.
Camping area by the brook (tent, etc. provided), and additional equipment.
Our private two-man canoe (with fishing rods and PFD's) is available for you to use on the Trout River.
There is ample parking for vehicles.
PEI Rental Attractions: You may feel like you are in your 'own little world' on Trout River, but in fact, you are still only minutes away from the majesty of our island. Golf courses (we are surrounded), lobster (dine-in or take-home), the best oysters in the world (Carr's Oyster Bar), fine and fun dining, Cavendish Beach, Anne of Green Gables, amusement parks, deep-sea fishing, sea-doo rentals, parasailing, and shopping are all within a 5 - 10 minute drive.
For a special treat, why not walk up to the Trout River Pottery gallery to see Darren. He welcomes all guests to 'sit and spin' (AKA - get your hands on some pottery clay and shape it into your own
creation - no charge - really fun). And finally, we're on the Trout River where you can fish, canoe, or enjoy its enviromental park that is frequented by a trio of bald eagles. So much to do, so little
time. You could always come back, you know!
